Two young entrepreneurs, Aziza Bindawa and Aisha Bindawa, on Monday, said they have created jewelry business that fetches them monthly average sales of N200,000.

Aziza and Aisha, are siblings and co-founders of CCBMART, an indigenous jewery factory that designs and make jewellery from locally sourced materials.

Aziza, who spoke to the News Agency of Nigeria ( NAN) in a telephone interview on Monday in Kaduna, said that they started the business in 2017 with N100,000 capital.

“We wanted to create products that can escape trends and stand the test of time that is why my sister and I contributed N100,000 to start up the business.

“We design and manufacture jewelry brands focusing on producing unique jewelries in various concepts and designs in the form of earrings, pins, pendants, rings, bracelets, anklets and wristwatches using gemstones as the main ingredient.

“We sell at least 400 to 500 units of products monthly and more during festive seasons due to gift packages and high demand from individuals, ” she said.

The entrepreneur who said the business had been prosperous over the years, however, noted that initially they had to struggle to convince people on the quality of their products compared to others already in the market.

” But we were able to break even as those who bought our products always come back to get more.”

Aziza, who resides  in Abuja, disclosed that her company also produces organic skin care products that cater for all skin types ranging from face and body scrubs, soaps, body butters, creams and oils.

She stated that their aspirations were to build a reknowned lifestyle company that would provide affordable quality products in Nigeria, Africa and beyond with distributors all over the world.

“We aspire to help our distributors succeed in business by providing a high return on investment on our products.

“We also aspire to assist in the development of our community in the best ways possible”, she added.

The entrepreneur advised youths to always try and explore opportunities open to them, take risks and learn from them. (NAN)
