The authority said that the ships were laden with Automotive Gasoline Oil (AGO), Premium Motor Spirit {PMS), steel bullet and bitumen.

It stated that the vessels included MT Venlo, MT Rosemary, MT Tornado, MV Chariana.

NPA further said that while one declaration was made on Tuesday, two ships were awaiting anchorage at the Escravos and the Koko anchorage.

“While the one in Koko is waiting for loading, the one in Escravos is awaiting maintenance,” the authority stated.
